Scott Continues To Do Well.

Hello folks,
Update on Gregory Scott DanielThe purpose of this website is to tell you Scott’s story but also to keep you informed about his condition. I have been remiss in letting you know what is going on with Scott, so having been gently reminded by my good friend Al, I will attempt to tell you the latest.

Update on Scott and his condition.miracles-gregory-scott-daniel

Saturday morning , 9/10/2016 at 4:30AM Scott’s nurse woke me and said Scott’s pulse rate had jumped to 240 beats per minute.  Of course I jumped out of bed and went into  his room and did everything I could think to do to get his pulse rate down.

After trying for about 30 minutes I called the paramedics and they transported him to the hospital.  When he got there they immediately rushed him into a treatment room and shocked his heart to stabilize it.

His heart rate dropped to the 90-100 range.  They then did x-rays, took blood, urine, and did a CT Scan.  They found that he had a urinary tract infection and admitted  him for five days.

During that time they ran a number of tests but we still do not know what caused Scott’s pulse rate to go so high.

One thing I do know, God is still in charge and when He gets ready for him He will take him.

Since we have been back home Scott has stabilized.  His pulse rate is normal and it appears his urinary tract infection is gone.

Please keep him in your prayers.  It seems God is not through with him yet. ~ Tommy

Scott’s Heart

At the end of May, Scott’s doctor told me she didn’t think Scott had more than a month to live because she thought he might have had a heart attack.  gregory scott-heart-beats

She said his heartbeat was not nearly as strong as it had been.

She might be right but he is definitely beyond the one month period now.

My prayer for many years has been that when God decides to take Scott, He will just stop his heart with no pain.

In that moment, I will still praise God for allowing me to have Scott with me for over 23 years, after the doctors said he couldn’t live.

So please continue to keep Scott in your prayers.

Tommy

Thanks be to God

Just a quick update on Scott’s current status.  For someone bedridden, tube fed, and on a ventilator he is doing very well, thank the Lord. Thanks be to God

His doctor reminded me recently that Scott has not been in the hospital since October 2014.  For someone in his condition that might be a world record.  Close to two years.  Perhaps I should submit that to Guinness.  LOL

Seriously, most patients on a ventilator are usually in the hospital with pneumonia or some other ailment every few months.

I do give Scott real food supplements daily, and my belief is that God is using these supplements to keep Scott well, just as He used them in 2005 when Scott was dying from pneumonia.   Just for the record, these supplements are not what healed Scott but they do give his body what it needs to heal itself.  God made our body to heal itself, and stay well, if we give it the right nutrition.

My concern right now is finding the right feeding formula.  Every function of the body is determined by what we put in it, so we want to make sure we get the right food.  If you believe in prayer, please ask God to give us the right formula and to keep Scott well.  Until next time, God bless.

Update on Scott

there's nothing my God cannot doGod has really been good… Scott is doing very well at this time.

His sons and his grandson have been by to see him. I think it still amazes Scott that his sons are grown men and that he has a grandson.

Because he cannot speak, due to the tracheostomy tube in his trachea (windpipe), I often wonder exactly what he remembers of the past 21 years.

I probably will not know until we get to heaven.

Thank you for your prayers. I believe that is what keeps us going.
